My only hope is that next year people WILL TAG THEIR BLOODY PHOTOS so I know what the hell I’m looking at, and why they think it’s relevant to them.
I hate seeing a really interesting looking picture and not knowing which film it’s from or where it was taken or whatever…

Films of 2010:
The first of my personal 2010 reviews. I won’t be commenting on them (much), because I’m rubbish at that sort of thing. Here are the films I saw in 2010, favourites first:
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World (new favourite film; I love it more than Twister and that’s saying a lot)
Inception
Tron: Legacy
Sherlock Holmes (released in 2009, but I watched it in January (for free!), so it...

If you click on the picture in the previous post, you can view it full-size and almost read some of the titles :)
P.S. I counted the Green Wing boxset as 1 DVD only, just because it’s a bit ambiguous, whereas other boxsets (such as The Thick Of It) count as two, because they have 2 separate DVD cases in them… or something.

Just watched Tron at the IMAX in Manchester. It was fucking incredible. The first chord of the first song gave me goosebumps (I’m listening to the soundtrack as we speak). Everything about it was brilliant; the panning shots (which look beautiful in 3D), the story (like the original, but telling a different story), the soundtrack (Daft Punk did an excellent job!) and the little references to...

I’ve missed Jon Richardson. So good to see him on Live At The Apollo. His set went down really well (by the sounds of it).
I want him back on my radio :(

So I’m all ill and stuff and have been since Sunday. Never mind that though, look at all the DVDs I got for Christmas:
If you can’t read them properly, then they are: Hostel I&II, Star Trek, Minority Report, The Phantom of the Opera, Muppet Treasure Island, Mars Attacks!, War Games I&II, Urban Legends 1-3, Panic Room, Babe Matilda and The Borrowers boxset (mini Tom Felton!...
Last 20 minutes of work! Woo hoo!

So it seems I’ve lost a couple of followers in as many days. Normally I wouldn’t notice, but I had bang on 50 the other day and now I only have 48. Not that I care. By my very nature I’m a passive person; I always observe rather than contribute. It doesn’t help that I’ve been really busy recently so haven’t had time to update this here blog.
Never fear though!...
CHRISTMAS IS THIS SATURDAY.

Russell: Jon has just taken off his cans - headphones -
Jon: Not buttocks.
Russell: - and started rubbing his ears. And fanning them. What's wrong with you?
Jon: Well, my cans aren't working. You've come in my left ear for a bit -
Russell: I have not, how dare you!
Jon: - and then you've come in my right ear for a bit. It sounds like you're running either side of me, telling your stories, and I can't handle it, so I've taken them off. And when I took them off I realised my ears were sweating and my hands were a bit cold, so I used my hands to cool my ears. Sort of a rubbing motion.
Russell: Jesus...is there anything else you want to touch?
Jon: Don't get me started. It's been a long time.
Arnold’s Grandma is such a BAMF.
Arnold: “Grandma, do you have a drivers’ license?”
Grandma: *Insane cackle*

Tonight, my friends, is all about the music. I shall be posting various little ditties that have been encircling my brain for the past… ooo… call it a month or so.
Some things have just recently been discovered. Other things I’ve known for years but suddenly remembered for no reason whatsoever (isn’t it weird when that happens?)
And so… on with the show.

The trains were absolutely ridiculous today. This morning people were standing by the time we reached Irlam. I’ve never seen it so bad.
On the way home, my usual train was cancelled, so I had to get the one half an hour later. I could only watch in horror as more and more people arrived on the platform. Eventually, when the train arrived there were about a hundred people all trying to fit...

Does anyone know where I can watch What The Dickens?
I’m so desperate to see it, it’s embarrassing…
