London!
Terribly sorry this has taken so long. It’s been on my to-do list since last week…
So last weekend (by that I mean the 21st of August) I went to London. It was totally fucking awesome. I met Robert Downey Jr:
and my mum molested Johnny Wilkinson:
…the crazy fool she is :D I also shook my fist at David Cameron, but I don’t think he noticed *evil chuckle*
After...

Finally watched Would I Lie To You? from Friday. My, my, David’s hair was looking shiny.
Also, I think it could possibly be one of the funniest episodes to date, just because there was so much ranting from David. Happy times :D

Sorry about the complainy-ness of that last blog, but it’s been hovering around the back of my mind in a fairly unpleasant way; damaging the otherwise perfectness of my birthday weekend.
I really did have an amazing time: Club Wired is just as brilliant as I remember it to be (even though the music has swapped floors), possibly even better since I know more metal songs than I knew back...

I’m a little worried. One of my closest friends seems to be distancing themselves from me more and more each week. The last time I saw them in person, they showed very little interest in anything I had to say (lots of eye-rolling and sighing, etc), even though I paid full attention to their anecdotes.
They didn’t turn up at all for my birthday weekend.
Compare with another close...

Birthday presents :D
I have a new 160GB iPod (my old 80GB is full) and a 500GB external hard drive :D
This is the card that mum and dad got me:
Yes, Matt Bellamy is on it three times! Much delight was to be had upon viewing that one :D
My nan got me (via mum) this Muse bag:
Which totally kicks arse. Next, my aunt got me this awesome wax seal stamp (plus wax, which isn’t in the picture, so use your...

So it’s my 21st birthday today, and gadzooks have I got some awesome gifts! :D
Pictures to follow once I’m back from town; I’m getting my hair cut (finally) and I’m having some godsdamn tasty pancakes!
See you later, my darlings…

Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
Today I saw Scott Pilgrim Vs The World. I went straight after work, by myself. Going by yourself doesn’t detract from the overall experience of the film, I find, it just means there’s no one between you and the girl-with-the-attention-span-of-a-goldfish sat next to you, which is a little tiresome. (They show up every time I go to the cinema; either texting, getting up and going out,...

I have returned from the southern counties! I would have got back sooner, but a lorry had overturned on the M6 (northbound, at junction 16), and the traffic stopped completely. We ended up switching the engine off for about half an hour…
Anyway, I had an awesome weekend and I shall be posting a variety of pictures and gormless comments later on.
Until then, I’m going to do some...

I dunno, it just makes me feel happy :). But go ahead, keep reblogging and whatever cos that’s what I do all the time anyway xD. And I guess its nice to know, especially when people reply to your rants or anything that means something to you, that they can relate. That there is someone out there who feels the same as you.
YEAH KEEP BEING AWESOME :D

1st birthday weekend
OK: party number 1 = dad’s side of the family.
It was fun! Just a couple of grievances, which I will outline shortly. The positive stuff comes first though.
Seeing my cousins again was brilliant! We can all talk to each other so much easier now that we’re older. As kids, we used to spend a good hour or two feeling awkward and embarrassed before we’d build up the courage to play...

Just caught up with the swoonfest that is Chris Addison on The One Show. Needless to say it was riddled with innuendo (for me, at least) and awesome :D
He’s so lovely… sigh…

I had chocolate, I watched You Have Been Watching (Crime Special), I had a fantastic evening.
Seriously. I love having evenings like this: killing myself laughing at some funny people, whilst munching on a Galaxy bar.
Armando’s impression of David Caruso had me in hysterics! XD
Also, Charlie Brooker’s face when he was eyeing up that woman was priceless

I love leaving my window open as night falls.
I don’t shut my curtains or switch my light on.
I just let myself become surrounded by darkness, lit only by the glow of my laptop.
I especially love when a draft of summer evening air wafts in. It smells so good.

I talked myself out of a job yesterday.
Yeah, stupid or what?
Unfortunately, it was actually because the job he was offering was something I definitely did NOT want to do. Here is the whole story:
I’ve been working (since Monday) on reception as a receptionist/administrator. Mark asked if I’d like to be a permanent staff member, I naturally said yes, and filled in an application form. Then the general manager came along...
