Chris Addison is on Mock The Week tonight? Excellent.
Oh, and I also had to vacuum said floors (plus living room floor) with a vacuum cleaner that only works when you kick it. Now tell me, would you say that’s a clear indication that it needs replacing? Because my parents don’t think so.
I get so angry with that thing. I always end up swearing at it.

The Plan:
OK. In order to remove any chances of angry yelling in my direction, I’m currently cleaning the bathroom, kitchen, porch and dining room floors. I’ve also hung the washing out (judging by the weather, this will also include “brought the washing in”). If that doesn’t stop them chastising me for missing the boiler man, I’ll just blame it all on my sister (hey, it...

I feel angry about everything today. I hate it when people put me in those sorts of moods. I was feeling all excited this morning because I’ve only got two working days left at Charter, but now I’m just grumpy because of all the dicks who ruin my day.

I swear to the gods, that if one more person tells me they were in when I know they clearly weren’t (I’m looking at you, Ben Tickle), I’m going to stab them with a fucking biro.

I watched Basil The Great Mouse Detective on...
…and now I’m watching Sherlock Holmes. I love a quick-speaking posh guy. Animated or otherwise.
(On a side note, here’s me with Sherlock Holmes hisself: )

Just been listening to the first ever Russell Howard Show. I miss hearing all their voices on a Sunday morning :( I especially miss Sam Thomas’ voice; it has the same effect on me as Howl does to Fran in Black Books…

I’d completely forgotten that Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow had started a new series, so I watched last week’s. I was incredibly impressed with Daniel Sloss; he was brilliant! Exactly the sort of comedy I like and delivered well. Craig Campbell was quite funny, but a little over the top. I always find Kevin Bridges hilarious and I always find Milton Jones to be crap, so no...

Since my last few days at Charter are here, I thought I might share my experiences with what it’s like to work here.
Firstly, the people who already work here are lovely (apart from Dave, the general manager, who is a bit rude, if you ask me). There’s Bev, who isn’t too bad to talk to providing you can understand her (she speaks a sentence as a word. It can be hard to follow);...

OH MY GOD, I ALMOST FORGOT:
Best Ringtone Ever went off whilst at work today. All was silent within the Charter domain, when suddenly…
The pussy speech from From Dusk Till Dawn (as spoken by Cheech Marin) rang out loud and clear as someone’s mobile phone began a-ringing. I couldn’t stop giggling.
It certainly makes a change from the usual shit that gets blared out.

There is a lovely woman called Joan who was a student at Charter Recruitment (where I’m currently doing voluntary admin/receptionist work), but has now left. She pops in from time to time, just to clear up any things that are missing from her portfolio or whatever.
When I told her that I’d got a job she gave me a hug. Today she gave me a “new job” card. I can’t begin...

AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHH!!!
Such drama and trauma this morning, folks.
I woke feeling pretty rubbish again and was all for drifting back off to sleep, when suddenly I spied a huge spider up near the ceiling above the lower end of my bed. I shrank into my covers in horror, for this beastie was 3 inches long, at least, with horribly hairy legs. It slowly made its way towards along my wall, heading for the top-end of my bed.

I’m not sure if this is just me, but whenever I look at certain words they have a tendency to look like what they are. OK, that was poorly phrased, so let me give a couple of examples:
Evil. That word just looks so mean. Maybe it’s the ‘v’. I’ve always thought that ‘v’ is an angry looking letter.
Smile. Puts me in mind of eyes crinkling at the corners.

Not going into work today. I feel dreadful. Mum’s given me her cold, so I’m going to lie in bed feeling sorry for myself and reading Scott Pilgrim…

And I could never tell as a kid What that window door went to Only told to stay away I almost had an accident at age 6 When I found the key in the attic And now the smell of these wood frames Is the only sense I’ve left So as you pull me from the bed Tell me I look stunning and cadaverous And since you are my friend I would ask that you lower me down slow And tell the man in the black cloak...
Oh great...

So The Inbetweeners is back on TV tonight, so all we’re gonna get now is shite screencaps of their “hilarious” lines, which are only hilarious cos it has “piss”, “shit”, “fart” or “cock” in it.
30-minute high class fart joke. That’s all The Inbetweeners is. Don’t like it. At all.
watch The Thick Of It if you really want amazing writing.

So I have a job now...
That’s right, bitches! No more dole money for me, huzzah! I am so excited for this; I’ve only been waiting a YEAR to get one. They were really impressed with me and my logical mind, apparently. They were also impressed that I got through an interview with Neill, who’s supposed to be “the bad cop” interviewer. He seemed alright to me. Maybe he seemed a bit persistent...

I need to do some ironing and watch Bleach (it’s been ages since I last watched it).
Also, I’m going to Glasgow this weekend and need to check the tent works. I might just assume it works and take it regardless…
